Hi there!
I'm Ben Laube, a game developer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My passion for video games began in childhood, inspired by the way games can spark imagination and bring people into new worlds. That passion has since evolved into a commitment to designing and building unique interactive experiences of my own.
Over the years, I've worked across a wide range of projects, from leading student development teams to creating prototypes, personal projects, and polished portfolio pieces. I've built games in Unity, designed 3D environments in Blender, and explored emerging technologies like VR through a professional senior design project, where my team developed an educational safety application in collaboration with an industry sponsor.
I enjoy combining technical skills with creativity, whether that's implementing complex gameplay systems, solving design challenges, or experimenting with new tools and mechanics. My goal is to create games that are not only fun to play but also memorable and thought-provoking, projects that players will carry with them long after they've put down the controller.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
